The Kendall County Economic Development Department was created to assist businesses and industry - from small local business owners to worldwide corporations - to expand, develop, and prosper in Kendall County. Kendall County offers a variety of programs to accomplish this goal including a low interest revolving loan program used to promote job creation and retention, a property tax abatement program used in coordination with other local taxing districts, private activity bonds for large manufacturing projects coordinated through the Upper Illinois River Development Authority, and job training programs facilitated through the River Valley Workforce investment board.
